Privacy Policy

Your data should help your progress, not put you at risk.

This policy explains what FORGE collects, how we use it, the tools we rely on to run the product, and the privacy choices available to you.

Information we collect

When you create an account, purchase FORGE, complete onboarding, or use the app, we may collect your name, email address, authentication details, payment status, support messages, and device or browser information.

We also collect the information you choose to enter inside FORGE, including body metrics, current weight, target weight, height, age, sex or gender information you provide, activity level, workout preferences, equipment access, food preferences, allergies, disliked foods, food logs, workout logs, check-in notes, progress photos, and other answers related to your fitness goals.

Payment card details are processed directly by Stripe. FORGE does not store full card numbers, CVC codes, or complete payment credentials on our own servers.

How we use your information

We use your information to create and deliver personalized calorie targets, meal plans, grocery logic, workout plans, exercise swaps, weekly check-ins, recovery suggestions, and progress tracking inside the app.

We also use data to authenticate your account, process purchases, provide support, monitor app reliability, prevent fraud or abuse, troubleshoot technical issues, analyze product usage, and communicate important service updates.

Some inputs may be processed through AI-assisted features, such as food logging or plan generation support, to improve speed and personalization within the product.

Service providers and third parties

FORGE uses third-party providers to operate core parts of the service. These providers only receive the information needed to perform their roles for us:

  • Supabase for authentication, database storage, and file storage
  • Stripe for checkout, payment processing, refunds, and transaction records
  • OpenAI for AI-assisted features such as food parsing and related product functionality
  • Vercel for hosting, deployment, and app delivery infrastructure

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, to enforce our agreements, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or asset sale.

Cookies, local storage, and similar technologies

FORGE uses cookies, local storage, and similar browser technologies to keep you signed in, remember onboarding or app state, preserve checkout flow, store interface preferences, maintain security, and improve site performance.

These technologies may include essential authentication cookies, payment-session state, feature preference storage, and basic analytics or reliability signals needed to operate the app.

You can adjust browser settings to limit cookies, but some parts of FORGE may not work correctly if essential storage is disabled.

Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide FORGE, maintain your account, respond to support issues, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Account information, training history, meal logs, and body-progress data may remain associated with your account until you request deletion or we determine the data is no longer needed. Payment and compliance records may be retained longer where required by tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, or legal obligations.

Deletion rights and account requests

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing support@tryforge.fit.

If you request deletion, we will delete or de-identify eligible data within a reasonable timeframe, subject to records we must keep for legal, security, payment, or dispute-resolution reasons.

Health data and sensitive information disclaimer

FORGE is a fitness and nutrition product, not a medical platform. Information you provide about your body, habits, meals, workouts, and progress may relate to your health or wellness, but FORGE is not intended to diagnose, treat, or monitor medical conditions.

Please avoid uploading medical records or highly sensitive health information that is not necessary to use the product. If you have a medical concern, consult a licensed healthcare professional.

California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you may have the right to know what categories of personal information we collect, request access to specific pieces of information, request deletion, request correction, and limit certain sensitive-data uses where applicable.

FORGE does not sell personal information for money and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as part of the core product experience. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

To submit a California privacy request, email support@tryforge.fit.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No method of storage or transmission is guaranteed to be perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.
